Did you know that Harvey Mudd College (HMC) in California offers students a world-class education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics in the context of a broad-based liberal arts curriculum?

Students take a significant number of courses in the humanities, social sciences and the arts while also earning a Bachelor of Science. As part of the Claremont Colleges consortium, Harvey Mudd students can easily take courses at the neighboring schools of Scripps College, Claremont McKenna College, Pomona College, and Pitzer College, which are right across the street from one another. HMC’s engineering program combines rigorous academic instruction with hands-on, experience-based learning and the school’s curriculum includes a leadership strategy course.

Did you know that Cornell University is partnering with Israel’s The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology to build a world-class applied science and engineering campus in New York City?

Stanford University recently dropped out of a similar planned partnership with CUNY, having been outbid by Cornell. The Ithaca, NY university is slated to open its facilities on Roosevelt Island in New York City in 2012.
